Mint
To get a grasp of where our users use cases are for EpicBot and botting in general, we'd love to hear more about what you plan to use EpicBot for. Are you planning to use it for profit? Personal skilling/leveling on main accounts? By profit, we mean those who plan to run more than 5 accounts. By skilling, we mean those who plan to run less thanm 5 accounts and use it on account(s) they play on legitimately as well. If you're somewhere in between, you can say that as well, but it gives us a good idea of what the usage will be for EpicBot as we formulate the beta structure.
Sellout
Profit all the way! I don't play rs no more, i find it life sucking with little rewards (compared to other games). However i did not make "x20 your rent" money, but it was some decent side money to have. In today's landscape it is hard to bot and have the account last more than a good couple of months. What i also like to do is make a main, just to see how long it survives. I try a different method each time just to see if i reduced the ban time on acc's that i bot. Koala
Definitely a fun hobby to make some side income 🙂
Suko
mostly just bot for the side income and the challenge
Maddawg
I did both honestly... I botted the skills necessary to get myself into position for High Alching Magic Longs....I literally made full suits of Dragon armor (Med, Plate legs, chain body, red square and abby whip) and I would randomly donate full sets to just random people that showed that they were really liking the game. Money didn't matter to me because you can ALWAYS make gold...so I would just dump millions at a time... There was a time people asked me if I would sell items for actual Cash, but I am not into profiteering....i'd rather people enjoy the game, not whip out some credit card. But that is just me ^_^
Global Moderators Euan Posted August 28, 2020 Global Moderators Share Posted August 28, 2020 I only ever did it on my main, never could be bothered to set up a gold farm; missed opportunity though.
alwaysnoob
profit!
DankSouls
Thats a pretty good question. I guess profit because money makes the world go round? but I skill so I can make money, idk man.
Proto
Started out as a hobby to see how far I can get fully botted mains before ban, turned into a hobby for making scripts to level up my main, and now I'm now I'm making big public scripts 😄
CSGoslave
I would like to make profit from botting. But i always end up spending more on scripts, proxies etc. Than i make i GP 😄 So for me it's just a hobby, a few accounts doing some f2p stuff, trying to see how far i can push them. Jamie243
I say i do it for profit but im sure i could find some other way to make me money that would be a lot better then what botting is paying me, so i would call it more of a hobby due to my love for automation and seeing how far both jagex and botting clients will go. azuresuN
Pretty decent income + Getting better at Java, NodeJS and basicly programming/architecture. I really don't care about playing OSRS itself anymore, it is way too grindy with low "reward" for me. Halzemere
Usually I like to run with 2-3 account for profit and then transferring the profit to my main account to play legit and have access to the faster training methods. It makes it much easier to think about the extra money coming in from the side accounts.
WishToBeGone
Profit, profit, profit. Ran a few farms with decent success and then less and now decent success again. Used to play the game a ton legit but never macro'd or botted my accounts. Lately its been more of a project for fun and bettering my java skills. The side income is certainly a nice bonus though 🙂
HandyJ
Side hustle for sure.
ZERK
Skilling 🙂 Doing tedious skills such as Agility. However I'm interested in creating some alts to just go full out profit and get some extra cash for my main. More money never hurts 😉
Revolt
Both skilling and profit, been doing it for some years now and will continue together with EB 🙂
Lucius92
I'm feeling like the meme; "You're getting paid for botting?" But I was looking for a good way to run a bot and make some profit. But never figured it out. So right now: Just for skilling
Aloha
I bot strictly for personal.
Claire Lovely
I plan to bot for the purpose of profit and to support the developers and traders of various botting communities. For any accounts that players will use to play as mains I believe they should always be hand done to prevent bans.

CnPx
Profit definitely. I am trying out HC iron man accounts as a side thing at the moment just to see if they make good money when it comes to selling the account.
Hex
My end game is profit but it seems that these days, in order to do so, you have to make a full automation system yourself. Currently I am playing around and seeing what I can get away with. EpicBot makes this so much easier!
